About Us
And the clients we serve
Food For Life Network, Inc. is a trusted 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1987, dedicated to eliminating food insecurity and malnutrition for men, women, and children living with chronic illnesses in Miami-Dade County.
At Food For Life, we are committed to delivering our services with compassion and confidentiality. We prioritize our client’s dignity and independence to enhance their quality of life.
Our services are always provided free of charge, made possible through the generous support of grants and donations from socially responsible individuals, groups, businesses, and organizations both within and beyond our local community.
Since our inception, Food For Life Network’s dedicated staff and volunteers have provided over 2 million meals and groceries to those living with chronic illnesses and needing emergency food assistance.
Today, our food pantry serves over 48,000 meals and groceries annually. In partnership with Care Resource, we go beyond food assistance to offer a range of essential services to our community.
These include free screenings for sexually transmitted diseases, free medical and dental care, access to health and nutrition specialists, professional training, assistance programs, and referrals.
As part of Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc., Food For Life Network, Inc. is proud to contribute to the holistic care of South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community and beyond.
