Our Services Include

Food Pantry Program

Our Food Pantry Program provides clients with essential groceries and pantry items at no cost, dependent on funding availability, ensuring they receive the nutrition they need to thrive.

Clients can pick up their groceries weekly from our site, with additional pantry items available every month.
Each grocery package contains enough food to support a week’s meals.

Packages include various nutritious items, such as meat, breakfast foods, vegetables, fruits, staples like rice and bread, juice, and milk. These packages are designed to prepare three generous daily meals, along with snacks or a light lunch. We also provide personal hygiene items when available, offering additional support for our clients’ well-being.

We include extra food items for clients with dependent children to ensure that both the parent and their children have access to adequate nutrition. This helps us support families in maintaining their health and well-being during challenging times.

This program is only available to clients of the Ryan White Program who receive a certified referral from their Ryan White case manager, who provides documentation that the client already receives less than $250 monthly in food assistance. (SNAP)

Home Delivered Meals and Groceries

For those who qualify and face challenges traveling within the Miami-Dade area, we offer a convenient Home Delivered Meals and Groceries Program.

Each week, we deliver nutritious groceries, ready-to-eat meals, frozen meals, and breakfast items directly to clients’ homes.

Our Home Delivered Groceries service is available to a limited number of residents who meet eligibility criteria and cannot travel easily.

These meals are frozen, ready to eat, and nutritionally balanced, including breakfast items. This service is funded through Medicaid Managed Care Health Plans, ensuring our clients receive the essential nutrition they need.

This program is specifically available to short and long-term care clients. Eligibility requires coordination with a Long-Term Care Case Manager, who must provide a Service Authorization from the client’s Long-Term Care Provider.

Emergency Food Assistance

Nutritionist Services

Registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) are experts in translating the science of nutrition into practical, personalized advice. They work with you to make meaningful, positive lifestyle changes that support your well-being.

Nutrition services are offered to all Food for Life and Care Resource clients. You can access our dietitian’s services by consulting with your primary care physician and obtaining a referral and your case manager will assist you with coordination of nutritional consultation
